Thanks for the wonderful suggestion. At present, it requires considerable lead time to put a donation together, so we tend to have the next several lined up well in advance and, unfortunately, our output and donation frequency isn't what I'd like it to be. While it's therefore unlikely that we'd be in position to issue a substantial donation to LiNK in the near future, we'll definitely take it into consideration for a future grant. It's certainly a worthy cause.

Have you considered creating a thread on the board to discuss the charity? They're a candidate for the $250k Pepsi's offering - sort of like our 10th anniversary $10,000 donation on a massive scale. Even if they don't win, raising awareness helps encourage others to support the cause themselves or simply learn more about it. I'm impressed by the way LiNK has oriented its web presence - their webstore items and presentation are very well targeted and I think it's something people would respond to.

We see our donations primarily as a means of role modeling - they should just be the tip of the iceberg when compared to the collective power of our community members.
